There are several cruise companies in Peterborough: the one we took has two small boats suitable for easily navigating the canal. Ours, the front one, carries sightseers on the main deck, and dining passengers on the upper deck. Since this was Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, the 35 or so in our group enjoyed roast turkey with all the trimmings, pumpkin pie, and a full bar service.
