New England is famous for its fall foliage. Colors first peak in northern New England and then slowly descends downwards towards Boston and Rhode Island. Columbus Day weekend is usually the best leaf peeking time. After that, northern Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine reach past-peak while Boston area and Rhode Island reach the peak of colors.

Right now (middle of October) vivid colors can be seen in and around my home town Cambridge. Today was a beautiful sunny day after several gloomy and rainy days. So this morning (October 13) I went out with my camera and took the following pictures just around my house within a 300 yards radius. The pictures will speak for themselves. I don't have to describe anything.

Enjoy!
