The award winning pedestrian bridge, Sightseeing in British Columbia picture - which spans the Tulameen River, is the site of the last bridge that was completed along the historic Kettle Valley Railway (the "KVR") in 1909. The old bridge carried rail passengers through Princeton until 1964 & freight until 1989. The rails were removed shortly after. The former KVR rail bed is now part of the Trans Canada Trail system.
