Sightseeing in Italy picture - The Palazzo della Ragione was built at the beginning of the thirteenth century to house the Court of Justice and the Council Hall. It was re-elaborated during the following century according to a design by fraí Giovanni degli Eremiti: today, the ground floor is occupied by shops, while the first floor, consisting of a single, immense hall, is decorated with frescos following an astrological theme, done by Nicola Miretto with interventions by Giusto deí Menabuoi.
