I spent 5 days in bella Sicilia before returning home to Naples. I stayed in the town of Taormina in small bunglaows, which are a short distance from the beach with a fantastic view of Mt. Etna. I hiked Mt. Etna, although not to the top unfortunatly due to mountain conditions and a lack of time, but after reaching the ski area there were many little shops, lodges, restaurants, and trails. The Taormina Greek Ampitheater is amazing to just go off exploring in. Downtown Taormina is full of life with hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, churches, and so much more. Sicily is a beautiful place and I look forward to returning to visit someday.
