In the distance, you can see the Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat. Beyond them, you can also see the Firth of Forth where it flows into the North Sea. This photo was taken from the Half Moon Battery at the Castle. Straight ahead to the left is the Castle Esplanade and the Royal Mile, which extends from the Castle to Holyrood Palace. To the right, below, is the Grassmarket district of Edinburgh's Old Town.
