Lisbon Portugal - 4May-13May2001

Of all the International cities that I have visited Lisbon Portugal offered by far the best food. However, the locals appear to understand english quite well but not many are will to speak it. Unlike Australia these folks appear to be nice and sincere.

The art work in RUA Agusta were scenes the Portuguese people had submitted to be on the new Euro coin. Each country got to put their own scenes on a coin. (I was there the same time as you.) Loved your pictures!

Lisbon photos
Nice photos! Was in Portugal Jan., 1999. Based in Cascais, we visited Lisbon a few times by train. Did not photograph much there though, most photos were of other areas we visited. Nice!

Btw: This city has 7 hills (like Rome) and Lisbon´s Castel could be seen and reached through Baixa (the downtown)

Hello! I enjoyed a lot your trip in my hometown. Some corrections: the swight you couldn´t remember (near Amoreiras) is most probably one of the many old buildings in Campo de Ourique. The Castle, is not a castle: it´s the Lisbon´s prison.
