Dulce Pontes was born in 1969 in Montijo, a small town near the Tagus river. Her career started in 1988, when she won a song contest for a musical comedy. Following to this part she exercised several roles in theater, TV programs and publicity spots. She was invited to the Casino of Estoril to take part of a very sucessful music-show.
