A collection of water villages found along Weld Quay, that has been in existence since the 19th century. Stilted wooden shacks, linked by planked walkways, are home to generations. They are called clan jetties.Altogether there are seven clan jetties along Weld Quay: Lim Jetty, Chew Jetty, Tan Jetty,Tan Jetty,Lee Jetty, Mixed surname Jetty, Yeoh Jetty and Koay Jetty.
