I planned to go to Cologne to see the famous Cologne Cathedral that I studied in art history. Unfortunatley, the day I picked to visit there was some kind of crazy marching band parade/trade show and every room in the city was booked! I had to take the train to the next town to find a place to sleep and then return in the morning to see the Cathedral. It was worth all the trouble.
