Paris won.

I didn't know there was a competition, but Paris won.

I'm not sure if it was the language, the elegance, the buildings, the bakeries, the pastries, the baguettes, the old ladies with their dogs, le metro, the art, the culture, or the wine that won me over, but whatever it was, it was good.

Paris was the last place I visited in Europe. I was there for three weeks before I returned home, and three weeks was not nearly enough.
