In March of 2004 I spent two outstanding days hiking in the Needles district of Canyonlands National Park. On the first day after establishing camp at Squaw Flat Campground I did a loop hike of about ten miles from the Squaw Flat Trailhead via the Peekaboo Trail, to Lost Canyon Trail, to Squaw Canyon Trail, to Big Spring Canyon Trail, and back to my campsite.
