I spent just over a week in Tasmania in July 2002, which was their winter period and at a time when the rainfall had been somewhat less than usual, resulting in almost a drought (by their terms). The usual greenery was les than green, but added to my photographic experience.

The pictures on this page were taken on an overnight trip from Hobart inland in a northeasterly direction, then back down the coast the next day.
