I spent just over a week in Tasmania in July 2002, which was their winter period and at a time when the rainfall had been somewhat less than usual, resulting in almost a drought (by their terms). The usual greenery was less than green, but added to my photographic experience.

The pictures on this page were taken on a trip from Hobart, up Mount Wellington which is a short drive away. Whilst quite sunny in Hobart, there was plenty of snow to see at the summit. It was also very cold and I was amused to see the ice forming on the road ... (more)
