Didn't notice my mother wasnt in this pic til I published this article. Dad is lower left corner. He was a good ball player in his own right but was injured during WWII (12th Manitoba Dragoons....commanded an A.P.C.) and he turned to coaching after returning home. Kinda ironic .... never saw the connection til just now. I spent several years helping to coach two of my sisters Slo pitch team! ( If I remember correctly too my mother told me the young lady in the foreground, whose name escapes me, was flower girl at my parents wedding! )
