Hampshire holds a special place in my heart, as I lived and worked there in my early twenties and found it an idyllic County in many respects. It seems not to have changed much in the thirty years since!

It is a County which, if you get off the main roads, still offers some of the most stunning Olde Worlde English type villages along with well restored and protected architecture representing true village life. It boasts an abundance of thatched cottages and country gardens unrivalled, in my opinion, in the UK.
