Diving in Bonaire is like wrapping yourself in a soft blanket and snuggling down for a read with a delightful and fun book. It is easy and makes you smile for the whole trip. We stayed in the time-share units of the Flamingo Beach Hotel on Bonaire. The units are equiped with two double beds, a couch that makes into a bed and a nice porch with table and chairs. The units have had some updating with new refrigerators, stoves and drapes. Also, the hotel itself has added a new garden and paint to it/s building for some much needed improvement. They lost their old dock in the last hurricane and the hotel uses the time-share units dock and dive shop for the hotel guest.
The diving is always so pleasant on the Bonaire reefs. We took our dives either off of the hotel dock or with the hotel dive operation but it is just as easy to rent a car and do shore diving for the trip. Now they recommend that you DO NOT lock your car while you are diving, don/t leave anything of value in the car and leave it open. Bonaire has a problem with youths and others breaking into locked cars while divers are making shore dives. At least one other person had their car broken into from our hotel during our stay.
So if you are a diving you will find much to enjoy in Bonaire.
