Behold Rhaglan Castle, the last and greatest castle built during medieval Britain. Construction for the Welsh Castle was started in 1435 on an area which was once a Norman Mote. Although Rhaglan Castle towers as a ruined edifice, it still commands respect. This romantic photograph captures the grandeur and glory of this now ruined fortification. Once visiting Rhaglan Castle, you will never be the same!
I highly recommend visiting Rhaglan Castle, located in southeastern Wales, (about 30 miles northeast of Cardiff). You should be prepared to bring a lot of film since there are many great shots to be had inside and out. Please give me feedback on this photo and tell me about your journeys to Rhaglan castle: welshdragon@ameritech.net
