I used myself to show how vast the Badlands really are. The second shot shows the landscape is a serious matter if your a French explorer trying to get through the area. Devil/s Tower is approx. 1,000ft tall and a park permit is required to climb. The bolders at the base are actually parts of the tower that have fallen away. The last fallen piece happen approx. 10,000 years ago. Mt. Rushmore needs no intro. all I can say is that I was able to see it up close and personal. It is a must see.
