Palawan is a very beautiful place. Unfortunately, locals do not know how to take care of the area. I grew up here and during our time, you can catch a fish using only a spear. I used to catch crabs on the sea shore with no tools at all. Now, you have to paddle for a farther place because the sea is already abused.

I agree with one of the comments here that selling of our islands to foreigners be stopped. Someday, we will have no more island to go for an outing/picnics. Mukhang kanya-kanya ang mga opisyales natin na mabibilis ang pag-kamkam ng mga isla tapos ibebenta sa foreigners. I do not know how they were able to have it registered in their names. Talagang maganda ang mga islands natin but someday we will no longer be able to set foot to these islands if we do not pay.

Coron - amazing place to stay
Ive been working for so many years , last march just for fun I've invited some of my friends to take a break, lets go to the beach...so we choose the nearest island where we can spend a 3 days escapade. we choose Coron... WOW we are all amaze by the beauty of the place.. Next year we will be back and stay there for more days and discover all those sceneries , nice photographs that you have huh. We have stayed at Dimakya Island and Miniloc Island in Palawan and never ever get tired of seeing great photos of the islands and people. We love it there and will go back again and again. We really loved Snake Island. What a beautiful paradise is this place.

one thing i regret in life...
after viewing these coron island beautiful sceneries and palces... damn! i regret the day i bought my mobile phone. instead of pursuing our coron trip with ate mitchie (who lives in coron), i opted to buy a new cell phone.

coron is one place where i think people can REALLY relax and enjoy their vacation as well.

now, i do promise to visit CORON next summer vacation.

Your pics are so so so great !!!! the best place (off the beaten track) I saw was the toggian islands (kadidiri) in sulawesi (between Ampana and gorontalo). I'm looking for another place : sure that the Palawan are The place to go; yet, the usual questions : is it safe ? when did you go ? on your own or with a package tour ? I would prefer to head to palawan instead of Sipadan, but I also want to relax once there. What about the price, is there any "quite" low accomodation ? and what about remains of the WWII : there was a terrible prisoners camp on this island : could you see any thing of it ? Final Destination
