March 2004 I traveled in Jordan with my daughter. We had a great time, saw lots of Islamic architecture, met friendly people and had no trouble travelling individually. Our route was: Amman (2 day)- Petra (1 day)-Jearsh (1 day) - Akaba,Mount Nebo and Madaba(1 day).
