The Colosseum is most impressive. The only thing that had more of an impart on me were the pyramids in Egypt. Walking through the ruins of the Roman Forum, seeing the different edifaces that had been there and contemplating the remains was very enlightening. However, to get out of the Forum, we had to climb up a never ending staircase to the top of the Capitoline Hill. Who said that Rome was built on seven hills? They are seven mountains!!!
