RHU PERHENTIAN ISLAND Unlike the larger island of Perhentians, Rhu Perhentian Island is 10 minutes away by speed boat from the jetty at Kuala Besut, Trengganu. It is a scenic island with calm bay for swimming and an exciting hill to climb. There is only one resort found in Rhu Perhentian Island. The resort known as Rhu Hentian Resort is managed by the Fishermen Association of Kuala Besut. The island is best visited from February till October to avoid the monsoon.
