These pictures are an essay unto themselves. This is a continuation of Scott and my trip in France this May, 2001. While staying in St. Malo (Brittany), we took an hour-long bus trip out to Mont-St-Michel. From 10 to 4 we walked up and down the ramparts of the island and through the cathedral/s many chapels and rooms. Mont-St-Michel was built and changed from the 1100s through the 1800s.
