Moorland is "open land usually with peaty soil covered with heather (red plants at the center left) and bracken (reddish brown leafy plant used for bedding for cattle). The little patches of green grass infiltrate the blankets of beige 'marshes grass' that usually indicates water level that is high above soil by few centimeters (hence waterproof boots)
