The walls of this and about a dozen other barracks were lined up with three rows of photographs of the prisoners who came to the concentration camp. They were all killed and, eventhough there are thousands of photographs, it's still only a fraction of the total number of people killed in Auschwitz alone. Walking down these halls, with all those people staring at you in total silence was very distressing and depressive.
