I would like to share our trip to Mexico with others. We took this trip in August of 2000. My husband and I purchased our tickets on-line for a Texarribean Cruise. As part of that cruise there were bus tours offered at certain Ports of Call. Cancun and Cozumel were both listed. We chose a bus tour from Cozumel to Chichen Itza. It would be a full day tour. It consists of a three hour ride one way, and the tour bus provided us with a boxed lunch. The tour guide was a very pleasant man, as was the driver. It was a very hot day. Thank God the bus was air-conditioned. When we arrived we were in awe. It was like we had walked back into time. I had never in my life seen anything like it other than on the History Channel. I am glad it was an all day tour because it would have taken at least all day to see everything. The pictures are self-explanatory. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who fancies history. It was an experience I will never forget. I learned much that day.
