Yosemite
Beautiful fotos of a MAGNIFICENT place!! My Mother and I and a Danish friend climbed Nevada Falls 30 years ago this summer. Looking at your pictures, it seems like yesterday. My own favorite foto is a faded Poleroid of the mountains reflected in Mirror Lake. An awe inspiring mountain park, "stream" sounds so little; to see, hear and feel the power of the water, the massive granite, the sturdy trees...one gets the impression that only a truely "earthshaking" event could change the shape of any of it. Yet the ecosystem held within it is SOOOO delicate and fragile. Thank you for the memories. I'm sending the web address to my friend in Denmark,and making plans to take my children before they all grow up!
