Open space distribution prevaricated between a linear and centralized configuration in the commercial and residential neighborhoods respectively. The primary, secondary, and tertiary arterial roads were lined with lush green strip segments that served as buffer spaces between the vehicular circulation zones and the quieter residential streets. The residential quadrants themselves were organized around central thematic piazzas that were to function as communal gathering spaces for the inhabitants. Every quarter was composed around these landscaped focal voids that were envisioned as the public recreational pavilions of this contemporized Chahar Bagh plan.
