In May, 2001 I traveled to Monterrey, Mexico City and Puebla. I visited four universities in Mexico as well as many museums. I toured the Aztec ruins of the Teotihuacan, outside of Mexico City. The cathedrals were splendid. This trip helped me to learn more about the Mexican culture...how it has developed and blended Spanish and Indian ideas to form Mexico today. Even though the entire trip was exciting, the ballet in Mexico City just can/t be missed if you go there. The Mexican guides were very informative and helpful and the cuisine was excellent, even though I/m from Texas, I found some truly HOT hot sauce. The cooked cactus was excellent.
