Madurai Meenakshi Temple is probably the biggest temple in India, both in area and in the number of structures within a single compound.

The area of the temple is 880 * 750 Sq ft,contains a multitude of shrines, halls and colonnades. It is belived that there are 33 million sculptures in the temple.
