We arrived at Flagstaff from Phoenix by lunchtime. It was a 141 miles drive northwards from Phoenix and the drive was very beautiful. The scenary was very different from the drive to Tucson. We crossed mountains, descended down into the valley, and climbed up the mountain again - and there stood right in front of us the snow-capped San Francisco peak, on the foot of which lies the little town of Flagstaff.
