During a 5 day business trip, I had a chance to get more than a passing glimpse of what Japan is. Although I was not afforded enough time to go sightseeing as it had been raining so hard and I was constantly shuttling between Nishi-Shinjuku and Himeji, the times I was able to sneak in a shot or two showed me Japans' two worlds? A modern economic giant fusing technology and art, and the old world Japan that's steeped in culture and tradition.

This was my first taste and I definitley was left hungry for more...
