Madrid (population) is the capital of Spain. It is really a lively and dynamic town, full of street life, pedestrians, traffic, bars and restaurants. This and my following articles on this city are meant as a tribute to all victims of terrorism who died on March 11th, 2004 here, in Atocha station. My highest appreciation also belongs to everybody – soldiers, policemen, firemen, rescuers and paramedics – fighting against the repugnant terrorists throughout the world.
