The Photographer
Thanks all for the nice comments! It is a great reward to know others are enjoying viewing my photography. To clarify where these were taken, it is NW of Brandon on the Yellowhead near the SK border. There are other Shoal Lakes but none have towns. The one mentioned in Administrators note is on the ON border where a reserve is located. This is where Winnipeg gets it's water. It is also accessed by car I believe, as it is a Native Reserve. Thanks again for all the appreciative feedback everyone. Lorna

I remember going to Winnipeg's water source (Shoal Lake) by train back in 1968. We went on a field trip as part of the St. Norbert community summer recreation activities. Is it still only accaessible by train? I hope so. Your photos make me want to go back and rekindle old memories.
