To find the Richland Wilderness area - From Russellville, take Arkansas 7 north for 37 miles to Pelsor (Sand Gap), then turn right (east) on Arkansas 16 and go 10 miles; then left (north) on Forest Service (FS) Road 1205 (gravel) about one mile east of Ben Hur. You have to watch for the FS 1205 sign, it is a 3-inch brown metal bar with the words "Falling Water" on it, at the turn off to a dirt road. Take FS Road 1205 north 9 miles to Richland Creek campground which provides access to the wilderness area. You can continue your drive across the creek and back out to Hwy. 123, which will take you back to Hwy. 7.
