We enjoyed /Old San Juan/ the most! They had the 2 old forts to visit ... and one they allowed you to go inside to explore! It was a great historical site ... and it allowed me to visualize how soldiers had to live ... and even how they slept! San Juan was a very big place! It was my first time to step onto an island. I had always visualized an island to be small ... but San Juan/Puerto Rico was more than I had ever imagined. We took a tour bus (from the ship) to show us more of the city ... but the most exciting part was visiting the forts and exploring the one they allowed you to enter. You may want to look elsewhere for more information if you have more time to spend in San Juan ... because we were on a cruise and didn't have time to really explore the entire island. (that would have taken us many days!)
