Yukie Tagawa Ohtani stayed with my family for a year when she was attending a local university in Baguio City (my hometown in the Philippines)in the late 60s. The last time I saw Yukie was 26 years ago when she and her husband visited with us in L.A. on their honeymoon. Yukie treated us to a fantastic and exquisite dinner at the Dai Dai Ya Restaurant in Shinbashi, Ginza district, where her son works as a waiter.
