This is an Arizona Desert in the springtime. I think this is possibly the best time to visit. The weather is perfect and hiking in the desert in Spring is the best. One day we were out exploring and came upon a patch of flowers and my son sat down to wait for me when I caught this on film. There are many species of cactus here in the desert such as this Ocotillo, it/s pretty tall and full of little green leaves. If you hike around for awhile you come across neat old things like this gate, which make for interesting photographs. ... (more)
