Maganda
my visit to the philippines was a great adventure, i was lucy enough to visit Mt. Mayon as well... swim with butading (Whale shark) about an hour away. To think you stand on over a 1,000 souls as you visit the church gave me alot of goose bumbs! god bless them all.

Wow! Truly nice pictures! I had been to Mt. Mayon and Cagsawa Church ruins last October 2004.I am amazed of its majestic stature. I also love Albay and Legazpi city for its cultural treasures. Mt Mayon - Beautiful
I saw Mt Mayon in November 2005. Its a beautiful volcano. Anyone wanting to visit the mountain - catch a plain from Manila to Legaspi (PAL). From Legaspi, any trike driver can take u out to Casagawa Park for 150 pesos and return (which is for about 3 dollars Australian). Pay an entrance fee of about 20 pesos. Can buy souvenirs there and professional pictures. Absolutely fantastic. Saw Pinatubo in 2001 crater lake - no where near as good as Mt Mayon. Trike driver says can go on a tour to climb up the mountain - takes 3 days. Just hope it doesnt blow - long run back down!.

Amazing pictures of Mayon volcano. Awesome.

Legend has it that this world-enowed beauty is such a fury, enchantingly fatal. Now that she's relinquishing her "most perfect cone" structure with frequent outbursts of eruptions, she's still the world's best,and 2nd known to her brother in Pampanga, Mt. Pinatubo. Now in 2006, still making headlines.

No wonder, lot's of them b****hes out there. But I still would want to go to Bicol to see her myself.

the majestic mayon
looking at your pictures brings me back memories of my previous vacations in Daraga, Albay...i remember that whenever we take our trip i always look forward in reaching the town of iriga, because that's where you first see Mayon. Although you can only see a silhouette the sight of Mayon even from that vantage point takes my breath away, even more so up close!anyhow, for mayon lovers out there, i suggest you go to mayon resthouse..it's a park located halfway up the mayon volcano...there's a trail in guinobatan that will lead you up there...the view of the cities of tabaco and the pacific ocean is so breathtaking.
