This flow was occuring when we were visiting Volcanos Nat'l Park. Clouds of steam arose from the points when the lava flowed into the ocean. Standing near the lava feels and smells like being too close to a charcoal bar-b-que grill. The lava makes soft tinkling and crackling sounds as it inches along.
