My first stop of the day was at the end of a 20-mile long road to a place called the Needles Overlook, a small picnic area perched on the lip of a canyon wall, overlooking the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The spotty showers and overcast skies obscured much of the distant scenery, but I think this picture of some nearby canyon walls turned out alright.
