Oh gosh! i miss pedu lake so much. i used to work in Holiday Inn Resort Pedu Lake, then changed name to Pedu Golf & Lake Resort. 1 of the most beautiful place that i used to work with. Was there from December 1996 - 2000. Wish da government or any private sector could develop the place back. The place is dead now. so sad....

what has happen to pedu lake?
I am a native of pedu, use to live there for 20 years. from the feedback that i recieved, it seems that the lake resorts has been abandoned! root cause? I use to work in the resort hotel and it was a very profitable business since 1994-2002.

Pedu Resorts must be there to allow tourist to experience the eco park of Pdeu. We are natives of Pedu that strongly wish the resorts be revive. Drought and Flood has got nothing to do with those development of the resorts.... its the extra burning of fuel and over usage of power in the city that heated the earth....

Penang Teluk Bahang dam underfilled?
The relatively new Teluk Bahang dam in Penang also seems to have been under filled for over a year. I saw it right after the rainy season in late 2005 and again in Jan 2006, the water was so low I thought the dam was being repaired. A local jogger made the same observation saying it was never topped up since the 2004 Dec earthquake, although I doubt the connection.
