Fratticiola, Italy
One afternoon we went to visit my Italian relatives in Perugia, Italy. They live in a small town of 800 people up in the mountiains outside of the city.
Uncle Aldo and Aunt Gioconda and their two sons invited us into their home like the true family members that they are. Francesco, Aldo and Gioconda greeted us at the train station and drove us to their home.
We got the grand tour of the tiny town and rounded up lots more Pannacci family relatives for dinner. Our dinner was incredible also: prosciuto and melon, tomatoes and mozarella balls, pizza, bread, and the best sausage sandwiches, and finally homemade cake fresh from Gioconda's kitchen.
It was on the the BEST experieces of the whole trip. We got to experiece true Italian hospitality and culture in its purest form.
One day we will most definitely return to little Fratticiola in the Italian province of Umbria!!
