The Mawson Trail, named after the great Australian Antarctic explorer and Professor of Geology at the University of Adelaide, Sir Douglas Mawson, stretches for nearly 900 kilometres from the centre of Adelaide to the outback town of Blinman in the Flinders Ranges. Following dirt roads, forestry tracks, fire trails, mining roads and roads which were surveyed but never constructed, it provides a womderful opportunity for off road cyclists to see the Australian outback. visit our cycle touring website at http://www.magfos.com/mawson.htm ...
