I remember Muree
We lived in Pakistan, specifically Islamabad, from 7/66 to simmer 68'. My family, (my father) was stationed in Rawalpindi @ the Embassy. I was very young, but our stay there was part of the best times of my life. We went to Muree several times, I remember the lush thick green forest, @ the terraced hillsides, & the horse wallah's. The winter's were mild as I recall, little snow where we lived, but thick powder in the moutains. We & several other families drove up into the mountains of Muree to harvest our Christmas trees. I was awed by the heavy monsoon season,but I have loved the rain ever since. I attended the International School of Rawalpindi, my sisters attented High School in Karachi. When we were leaving the country, restationed back in the States, I can remember seeing the white shinging buildings of the soon to be capital of Islamabad. I will never forget the time we spent there. Thank You for allowing us to spend time in your country
