<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> My cousin Rainer hopping aboard a sampan<br> Scenery in Hong Kong picture - In turn, she asked us to state a price to which we said &#34;&#36;40 H.K.&#34; Now that instantly got her laughing as it&#39;s merely &#36;5 U.S.! She then countered with &#36;70 H.K. but only for us to counter-offer &#36;60 H.K. telling her that we contract workers only gets paid very little for all the hard work we endure here in Hong Kong. She then took our offer &#38; sent us to this lovely sampan for a mere &#36;7.50 U.S. Now that&#39;s bargaining at its worst as we unscrupulously tricked the old woman who was still nice enough to strike us a pose in the previous pic for the memories:) But if we were only caucasian or Japanese, there&#39;s no way we could&#39;ve bargained that low! *Indeed, there are lots of Filipino contract workers here in H.K. &#38; I&#39;ll have lots of pics of them in later articles. Such beautiful &#38; hardworking people the Filipinos truly are, never afraid to go to foreign land in order to make a living. </div></nolayer></noembed>
