Trelowie Gorge is situated about 240kms north of Adelaide in the Flinders Ranges. I used to live in Port Pirie and visited this area when I was a kid. If you are quiet you may see the rare Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby. It is an easy drive of only a few kilometres from the highway. I can assure you it is worth the side trip while on your way heading north.
