May 2004. On a visit to Sydney to see an old friend (Barry), we decided to fly from Sydney to Darwin and then hire a 4wd and explore the Northern Territory. We included Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks, Devil's Marbles, Ayer's Rock and Katherine Gorge. After dropping off our hire car at Alice Springs we then took a flight back to Sydney.
