excellent photos, captured many faces of Hong Kong. Hong Kong is changing with an alarming speed, socially and politically. Really happy to see someone taking nice photos of this city which may look and work totally different in 10 years. It changes so quick that everyday is a day to remember, thanks Phil

Phil, having been to HK about 7 times (my sister used to live in Stanley Village, out past Repulse Bay) I loved seeing these photos and was glad to see the more tranquil ones esp. Man Lo Temple and its incense coils, that is so different! It's certainly interesting, trying to keep up with all the changes happening in China. I have a sense of dread, now they are getting so many cars, and much more pollution, maybe they can learn to control it! Everyone seems to smoke a lot, too.

Cultures Collide
The fact of Honk Kong now being a part of China is fascinating - there must be a real sense of major culture shock - In this set I am drawn to - "Cat Street" I would love to use this in an American History course and challenge the students to think what would by the American History heap. "Incense coils" This gallery is subtitled "Building China's wealth" yet this reminder of the past creates little buildings on which to grow the future. "Prayers" I like that the light seems to be emanating from the prayer

Excellent
Good collection Phil, only problem is it's a little short. Maybe you didn't have much time in Hong Kong and were just passing through, but there's so many great subjects there. Or maybe you went for quality over quantity! Enjoyable collection all the same.
